Class Descriptons

All sessions take into account previous and current injuries.

Beginners Pilates

These classes start from scratch and will truly help you to find, feel and understand the muscles you should be using to help you improver your posture, stabilise your shoulders and back and stretch the key muscles which tend to shorten. You will also learn how to use your abdominals to bring strength to your body and achieve a leaner look.

Improvers Pilates:

Designed for participants who have some experience of Pilates and for those who have developed a good degree of skill and are starting to take on more challenging exercises.

Pilates for Men:

Giving men a chance to enjoy the benefits of Pilates exercises, focussing on muscle groups which are typically tight and weak and developing strength in core muscles to help prevent injury.

Improvers and Intermediate Pilates:

Ideal for those who have a good degree of experience with Pilates based exercises. This class also encorporates exercises for balance, standing strength, co-ordination and a range of exercise equipment to keep you challenged.

Post Natal Pilates (babies welcome):

After you have had your six week check, you can join in this group. You will re-build the muscles of the pelvic floor, deep abdominals and shoulder girdle. These muscles can help greatly with posture, reducing back pain and re-gaining your figure.

Pilates for Sports:

Flexiblity, mobility and strength are all key requirements in sport. This session focusses on working on the key muscles responsible for rotation, power & control.
