Class Descriptons

Improvers 1 and 2:

These sessions take into account all previous and current injuries.

Level 1 is designed for participants who have some experience of Pilates.

Level 2 is for those who have developed a good degree of skill and are starting to take on more challenging exercises.

Pilates Tone & Strength:

This session is for the generally healthy person who wants to use Pilates based exercises to help define and shape their body. We will use hand held weights, balls and bars to achieve great results. This is an ideal session for women who want to stop the "middle age spread" spreading!

Pilates for Men:

Giving men a chance to enjoy the benefits of Pilates exercises, focussing on muscle groups which are typically tight and weak and developing strength in core muscles to help prevent injury.

Post Natal Pilates: 

A session that you and your baby can enjoy. Exercises specfically designed to get your body back into shape after childbirth, focussing on pelvic floor, deep abdominal muscles, posture and lifting and handling of your baby. You will do exercises standing, sitting and lying down. 

Improvers and Intermediate Pilates:

Ideal for those who have a good degree of experience with Pilates based exercises. This class also encorporates exercises for balance, standing strength, co-ordination and a range of exercise equipment to keep you challenged.
